Scavenger Hunt – A unique Dating Idea
We all want to spend quality time with our boyfriends or girlfriends. But at the same time, we want to make sure that we do something novel, something new on each and every date we go. If you can reach the movie house or the beach blindfolded, it probably means that you have been to these places on numerous occasions. It is extremely boring to go back to the same place again and again. Moreover, if you are going out with the same partner, it will be boring for him/her as well. If the above-mentioned situation sounds familiar, then it is time to start thinking. It is time to try out some new fun date ideas. One such great idea is to have a scavenger hunt.
Scavenger Hunt
For those who do not know, a scavenger hunt is a game in which individuals or teams seek to find all items on a list. You can list anything you feel like. It may differ from a four leaf clover to a photograph of the water hydrant on the street at the end of town. This is usually more fun if more than 4 people participate. So it might be a good idea to get your friends with their dates as well. Form teams of two and hand over a list to each team. The items can be the same or can be different. If you list the same items you can take it as a time challenge and try to beat the other teams. You set out from a preset place and hunt for the items in the list. While some items may be easy to find, some may be tough and you might have to request people to help you get it.
Pre Date work
If you plan to have a scavenger hunt for a date, you need to do some pre date work. Make a list of uncommon items that you see everyday while traveling. Keep your eyes open and write down the location where you saw it so that you do not forget.
Other Alternatives
If you find it too tough or expensive to carry out a scavenger hunt, you can have a photo scavenger hunt. The rules are the same, except for the fact that in this, you only need to get photos of the listed items. Here you can list even the most whacky things, because you don’t actually need to get the object. You and your date will have a great time finding your way through the city hunting together.
Therefore, in midst of your usual movies and beach dates, do something like a scavenger hunt on a date. Its one of the best and unique fun date ideas ever tried.
