Most people run short of fun date ideas on the eve of their date. When I say most, I mean it. A survey reveals that almost 87% of people fall short of ideas before their date. And if you check online, most resources provide you with similar ideas. Go to the park, the movie, the beach, a night at the lakeside, a resort, a hiking trip or at the most a scavenger hunt. But all these ideas are probably years old. No doubt that they are good ones, but if you want to show your date that he/she is really a special person in your life, do something that will prove this.
Cook a Dinner for Him/Her
Now most would disagree to this but it really is a great idea for a date. It might take a lot of preparation on your part. If you are a good cook then he/she would enjoy the end result. Ever heard the saying that, “The way to a man’s heart is through the stomach?” It is true and if your date is a she, it will make her feel really special to see that you are going out of the way to please her.
Preparations
Italian food is a good choice, because it is easier to make and hard to mess up. You can check for recipes online or in some book if you have it. But it is better if you stick to something you have tried. You certainly don’t want to see an expression of horror on his/her face when trying the recipe. Italian spaghetti is available at most stores. Buy a pack and also a jar of sauce. Also get a loaf of Italian bread. Make some salad as well. This is a pretty simple one to make. Buy a bottle of the best wine. Get some of his/her favorite dessert. Make a complete setup for a candle light dinner and you are all set to go. And if you are that maestro chef, you certainly don’t need instructions on how to go about it.
Involve Him/Her
Call him/her over to make your preparations. There is nothing like having some fun in the kitchen with your date. You guys can even go down to the supermarket and shop for the ingredients. He/she might have a few suggestions also.
End It on a Good Note
Go to your local video store and rent a favorite romantic movie. Cuddle up on the couch and watch the movie. There’s a simple and lovely way to go about on a date.
